Another Wee Scots Story this time about my home town of Wick.
The story is a sad but true story of the days gone by when Wick was the largest Herring port in the World.
With over a 1000 drifters setting sail from the Harbour it was boom time.
The local population doubled during the herring season and it was a very busy wee town.
Sadly with weather and seas being unpredictable it has done and always will claim lives.
This Story is about one night that saw the loss of over 90 fishermen in probably the darkest day for the Town
